In summer , the “flowers” of these local plants are similar to that of Queen Ann’s Lace, but much larger. The large white “flowers” can be the size of salad plates and are actually made up of lots of smaller, true flowers. When they die back in the fall, the stalks of this fairly large plant remain standing as do the “skeletons” of the flowers. That’s what they are an impression of. They are pressed into sterling silver and hang about 1.5” from hand-made sterling silver hooks.
